When Xantara wakes up with amnesia, she finds a group of men in her home. For some reason this doesn't alarm her. They inform her of what they know - she was attacked. Of course this alarms her, but they only know bits and pieces of what she had told them. She presses them further and learns that there's some sort of magical war going on and the world is in apocalyptic ruins because of it. They set out on an epic journey to recover her memory and find out the truth behind the war.
