Life, people, school, Jacob Rennit hated all of them. He just wanted to finish high school and get the hell out from his dad's house. Maybe then his life won't be as miserable. Unfortunately, the world wasn't done with Jacob just yet. His life becomes absolutely terrifying when he find out its not quite as dull as he assumed. The setting is a 21st century world that is suddenly overtaken by humans with strange abilities known as "Evos". These Evos create discord among the continents and among the inhabitants within. From something as passive as invisibility, to more destructive abilities that allow you to level entire cities, Jacob's world has just done a complete 180. Now its up to Jacob and his allies to either accept the world they've been thrust into, or to forsake it all in favor of the 'Syndicate,' a powerful but secretive government organization with mixed intentions and possibly the ability to take away powers forever.

"Monsters exist. Heroes died. Hell has taken over the world, put humans into slavery, killed men, women, and children, but there are still warriors, who are recruited. This is our world, where kids at the age of thirteen begin fighting the dangers that face our world; they train and at the age of eighteen they will be put out into the real world. Schools were built everywhere, and kids were moved up based on their age. My world was a little different, my brother and I were trained ever since we could walk; we were put into battle once we reached seven years old. Today my parents are transferring me and my brother to a new school, before we were homeschooled but since my dad and mom are going to be leaving for quite some time they thought it was best for us to go to a real school where we will interact with other groups."
