Allison's parents always told her that she was special up until the very day they gave their lives to save her and her older brother, Zayn. Hunters were sent to kill Allison because she was a mix of both vampire and werewolf. Most in the supernatural realm fear what she one day will be capable of.

After, witnessing all she has Allison puts up walls to protect herself. She puts up a sweet front during the day but keeps her walls strong, then at night she's a whole different person. Almost everything about her changes when the sun goes down. On the inside of her there's a battle of dark vs light and slowly the darkness is winning.

Zayn and Allison have moved to many different places to hide from the ones who are hunting them. Zayn and Allison have resided in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire for almost five years. There has rarely been any problems for the two siblings. They had a few hunters that had come across them but easily killed them off.

One night Allison went out to a new club, that just opened, with friends. In this club she meets a handsome stranger at the bar. She immediately feels a connection with, Harry, but doesn't know why.

When Allison is attacked she does as Zayn said and runs, after holding off the hunters for a bit. While running she meets two boys. She automatically felt a connection with one of them, Niall.

Things that Allison can't explain starts to happen to her. She starts to change, she starts feeling things that she hasn't felt in centuries, some she hasn't even felt before meeting Harry and Niall.

Allison must choose things that will change her forever. These choices could make her life worth it again or lead her to the very thing that will be her death.....
