A 14 year old named Elizabeth Reaper is an adopted child, a foster family of three brothers, a mother, and a father. At first she was very quiet and quite shy, but eventually she became close with her one of her brothers, Jacob. Jacob just got adopted with the same family a couple days earlier, and is very shy. As they get to know each other, Elizabeth notices cuts on Jacobs wrist, knowing there's more behind those cuts, but doesn't know how to help. Soon she tries helping anyway before he hurts himself more, or worse. Hopefully she'll save her only close brother, and her best friend.
