This is a complete rewrite of "Magic Within". I actually decided to scrap that and start anew. Honestly, I like this one way better. It's better written, I fixed the problem with the story's plot line (there was one thing I couldn;t fit in smoothly on paper) and I changed the names into something I like more. Hope you guys like it.
Jaye Peltier never really believed in things like magic. She never believed in things like the tooth fairy, dragons, or those little gnomes that steal your left sock. It wasn't that she was a strange little girl, rather, it seemed to make her dad uncomfortable. But one day, her dad doesn't come back from work, and Jaye is forced to move in with her crazy aunt in Bar Harbor Maine. There, she starts seeing things that don't look....right. One day, she follows a strange looking firefly and ends up tumbling into a place that puts her pragmatic view of the world to question. Will she be able to survive in this new world long enough to get back home, or will she fall victim to the hands of a desperate king?

Forget the plot, let's become a Runaway Witch!
Isn't it said that you should give away what you don't use? After losing my life, I became the Villainess in a novel I didn't even finish. That was alright; I had asked for this second chance, after all. Even if I didn't think my desperate pleas were going to be answered like this, I would not waste this chance. Living with my family was comfortable, but my ambitions were big. Still, the first thing to do was to evade the death flags. For that, I have to evade the Crown Prince at all costs. As a commoner, if he sees me and takes me as a concubine like in the original, it will be very troublesome. But what is this!? Didn't my parents tell you I was sick? Go away and enjoy the festival, and leave me alone! We don't know each other! If he is so insistent on taking me with him, then there is no other choice: I will run away from home! Mother, father, Lanto...I'm sorry. I hope your heads don't roll because of this. I sincerely enjoyed our time together. I learnt a lot from my father. Maybe becoming a wandering witch is not so bad... ... Isn't this how reincarnation stories usually go? With an obsessed male lead who suddenly shows interest in the reincarnated protagonist? But I'm completely honest when I say I will never marry or fall in love with this dude. And no, it's not just the usual 'protagonist who will later be proved wrong' talk. I will not let this become a cliche, damn it!

Not Giving Into Fate
I was the daughter of Duke Solon, I thought I was the last child. My elder brother is following in my father's stead. We were never really close. We both share my father's personality, a wedge that makes it hard for the three of us to talk to one another. It was fine, living like that, I mean. I was the daughter of the Duke, engaged to the Prince who didn't seem to care that much about the engagement. I was the Master of Ancient Magic at the Magic Tower. I had everything and I was stronger than most. The only terrible thing was that on my coming of age ceremony, it was all ruined. Catherina broke into my ball, claiming to be the daughter of some woman and my father. She looked like her mother and acted like her to gain my father's affection, society's adoration and the Prince's love. For two years she ruined me up to the point of my death. She somehow was able to frame me and villainize me as she stole my fiancé and life. She continued doing so until I somehow was framed for attempted murder. My father called me a traitor and a liar, the Prince sentenced my death and no one stopped it. I woke in my body again, 18 years old and with a plan. I don't want the Prince who will ridicule me, embarrass me and choose the woman over me. I don't care for all those who supported her over me. I had one plan. Kill her before she kills me.
The Princess and the Merman
This is a new fairytale for me to write about. Just to let you know, it's not the little mermaid genderbend. You can read or add my story to your reading list. Just please don't steal my idea. Thank you. Started; 01/30/2023 Finished; 02/06/2023 Plot; Princess Lucia is a seventeen year old girl who lived with her mother and father. The king and queen. She has a twin brother named Lucas. Little that she doesn't know, her brother try to get rid of her due to envy. He was younger than her. Lucia was being appointed to become the next queen for the kingdom. The royal guards ambushed the princess and took her away to the witch's house near the ocean. The two white witches agreed to help the princess for her desperate plea to return to her home castle. And stop her brother for his act of disposing his only twin sibling. The two white witches told her to take a swim in the sea before leaving. Before Lucia tries to get out of the water, she was suddenly transformed into a mermaid by the two white witches. There are two ways to break the spell before her time is up by the next month. If Lucia gets a kiss by the merman, she'll be a mermaid for all eternity. If the princess gets a kiss from the prince on land, she will be human again. If not, she will be lost in the world of water. Will Lucia see her family again as a mermaid? How is she going to reach them if she can't swim as a mermaid? Princess Lucia was new to be a mermaid. She has a long way to see her pink tail fin works in the ocean floor.Terminé
The dragon and phoenix fate twins
Two twin sisters drifted apart because of misunderstandings and screaming by there on family no less. Zan Cui the one with a dragon fate was seen as bad luck because she is a girl. So she was openly despised and raised to be a tool for her elder brother. Knowing this and also seeing her sister being loved and pampered by her family. She always felt bitter, but she never hated her sister for it. But when her sister moved into the royal palace and later married she never contacted her again. She felt betrayed and was very angry with her. But what she did not know was that her sister made a deal with the second prince that she would move into the palace to live with him and marry him when she came of age he would then send her sister an awakening pill. But what her sister did not know then was that the awakening pill would never reach her sister and that her husband would never allow her to see her sister again. Until one day when her husband used her sister and uncle as scapegoats. Seeing her beloved uncle being killed and her sister being next. She ran over and blocked the blow for her sister. Seeing this Zan Cui picked her up and ran away with her into the forest behind the royal palace. But they were never able to escape, so Zan Cui, picked up a treasure that she found. That would grant 1 wish for a price, she used it hoping that it would send them back before everything started.
The Witch's Daughter
Taking a wrong turn through the Lost Miracle Cave isn't exactly how Amma expects to spend her family reunion, but when her life is threatened by a cave-elf ritual, she must use all the strength her magic (and mind) has to offer. Another tale set in the same fantasy world, this time focusing on Auntie Bathilde and the struggles of her family. This story has been edited slightly, especially near the end. I can't believe I actually submitted it somewhere. They didn't tell me it was bad, but looking back, I cringed. Nevertheless, it was how the backstory came to me. I regret sending it so short, but the website made it sound like they were looking for stories under a certain word count. However, for what it is, I think it still worked out. NOTE: This is set after Bathilde was in the Neo-Jotun Kingdom and French Resistance, but her memories are focused more on family, as that's who reunited with her. I may or may not write a short story about her time in these places.Terminé

Four years later another equally mysterious young person arrives in the city and takes up residence with Nim and her uncle. His name is Arthur, and to him a destiny is revealed that he never even dared to dream of. Nim and her uncle along with a few others will accompany Arthur on his journey and none of their lives will ever be quiet or simple or safe again.... This is my first upload on a site like this and i would just like to get some fed back. I write a lot, this ones kinda like a side story. I'm going to admit I always feel rather stupid when my friends read my stuff because I'm always sure its awful and they just aren't going to tell me so this seemed the best way to get some more honest fed back. always looking for advice if anyone is willing to give it.
