As a teenage runaway, Celeste learned never to take anything for granted. She was young, and life was hard on her own, but she knew that it was better than it could ever be back at home, if you could even call it that. After years of traveling across the country on her own, a woman with a warm heart took her in to take care of her, even though she was barely getting by herself. Throughout her life, Celeste was constantly dealing with financial struggles and discovered that having your own freedom is more important than any amount of money. She stood firmly with this thought, but she also had a hard time with having little to nothing. Her lifestyle greatly contrasted with a british boy's who introduced himself as Harry. Harry had everything anybody could possibly want in the palm of his hand, yet he wanted one more thing: Celeste.

Writing this for a contest: (prompt 44) In the middle of a storm, a stranger arrives at her cabin, and she offers them shelter. But the storm's forecast said they'll be stuck for much longer than expected. *************** She was a squib, and she lived in the middle of the woods away from society. Her parents were purebloods, but they passed away from Dragon Pox, leaving the girl alone. She was raised away from society because her parents wanted to keep her safe from the wizarding world. Her parents raised her without magic, or if they did use magic, it was when she wasn't around or wasn't paying attention. She was oblivious to magic, because she had never seen it before. So, when a stranger arrives at her cabin in the middle of a wild storm, she was hesitant, because she had never been around anyone but her own parents before. When the forecast came through that the storm made it impossible for everyone to leave their homes, she realized she was stuck with the stranger longer than she anticipated. The stranger had an almost threatening aura around him, and that scared her slightly, but she couldn't help but feel intrigued by him. What she didn't know, was in the wizarding world, there was a special thing called soul mates. This stranger had arrived by accident, but there was reason. He had been trying to get away from the evil of his father, and went in search of his soul mate, but the storm slowed him down, unknowingly bringing him right to his soul mate's front door...

"Then why don't you tell me your's?" the boy asked. *** Constance Foster was the girl who went pretty unnoticed through all her life. From birth when someone had left her in an orphanage to her school years at Hogwarts. The orphanage that she had lived in was led by nuns and wasn't all that excepting of the girl and her abilities as they found her odd and even dangerous in some aspects. When she was eight Constance accidentally lost control of her powers and hurt a fellow orphan, that's when the nuns decided to limit her contact with other children and call upon a man. A headmaster, who came and offered Constance a chance at a better life. From that point on her life went up, at least she thought it had.
