Life doesn't have a rule book. But it has unsaid rules, some even tips. In no particular order, here are the rules that I feel have deep meanings (sometimes...) behind them. Especially for me. FULL DISCLOSURE: It is now 2021 and I'm 21 years old. I wrote this at 14 with no real perspective on life. Read at your own risk. It's bad. I love to look back at myself and laugh which is why is is still up. All the love.

It's funny because when you're a little kid, you are under the impression that you can just grow up and go about your life in the same way you always have. When you're a kid, you have this whole perception of who you are going to be. You are too young, too full of innocence intertwined with naïveté to truly recognize how complicated the world is going to become. You never would have guessed that the idealized version of yourself that you have had in mind will do everything in its power to slowly slip away from you. Remember when I said that a kiss or an award had a time limit on it? Well, if you find the right person to say "I love you" to, that doesn't go away. That doesn't vanish. That lingers on forever if you're especially lucky. Feeding it with more is always helpful, of course, but if you've found the person whose "I love you" never goes away, then you're probably doing your damndest to keep them in your life. So it never really leaves you. What it does do is color every bit of your life with a magical sheen of joy where even bad luck appears to turn around and become good once more. Broke your shoelace? Well, maybe you walked by a lottery machine on the way to buy more and won a thousand bucks. Who knows? Glass is half full and all of that. I didn't have such interesting luck, but I did find a new level of contentment with my life.

I learnt the hard way that wanting to be normal is just wishful thinking. More specifically when I found out who my dad really was. Then again, having a child while I was still a kid myself already sealed the deal on being anything but normal. But I was happy, for a moment. Until I was introduced to an entirely new world or worlds that I wish I wasnt apart of but now its impossible to avoid.

Brush my teeth, get dressed, go to school and do homework. That's what my life was about, occasionally going to parties. But when a new kid comes to school and turns your world upside down, your best friend turning into your enemy. And me, turning into something that isn't exactly human. Things could get pretty strange. Especially with a life like mine. It would take a lot of work to actually survive, but to live at the same time is just exhausting. But it's all worth it. I can now call my life one word: Unpredictable.

The typical crappy jobs no one wants but than there's those people who really think thing through. Who knew that kid might come and save your life, maybe even save the world. If you have to take drastic action to solve a problem, you have to do something basic and extreme to solve it. **** The scientific term metamorphosis isn't something that pertains to physical change alone. It goes deeper than that. "Like how deep?" You might be wondering. Well, it can go in immensely deep. To the point were...A person. One you've grown to know right from childhood. For practically ALL YOUR LIFE. Probably as well as the back of your hand. To seem...entirely different! From what they used to be. Or rather, who you thought they truly were. Then again! I believe it only goes to show us the full spectrum of human behavior. It reveals something quietly laiden within ourselves. Our TRUE selves. So reason deeply, and tell me, What do you believe? **** "Er..I believe that...the term, holds a certain kind of eminence. N'that, whomever we are, be us young or old, everyone, everywhere! is susceptible to equal, unparalleled change! Besides, don't the most beautiful things come from the most unlikely places?" **** Everyone has their own views and opinions. Still, they all seem to forget the most important thing. They forget that CHANGES can be for good, AND for bad. It can bring the beautiful AND the ugly. It can pave a path of light OR darkness. Just because a chrysalis is breaking open, that doesn't mean a magical butterfly is gonna come fluttering out! These people FORGET! That moths? They go through the same stages too. But you? Do you believe people do change? Or are you under the impression that they don't? Or...is it the changes people can go through that is hard to believe? Don't worry, you only have to follow the stages accordingly. ....ARE YOU READY?
