Behind Enemy Lines (D.M.)
The space between us disappeared. "Scared of what he'll say?" His hot breath was vexing, in both agony and tone. My eyes narrowed at his assumptions that I cared enough. "Aren't you scared of what I'll do?" My eyes casted down to the wand he didn't see slide up. It was pointed at the firm hand on my throat. "You've always underestimated me, Malfoy." Each word dripped like honey, causing his smirk to twist. A cat and mouse stuck in tormenting circles. His gaze dropped to my lips, a heat igniting in the silence between us. - Where there is smoke: there's fire. The same smokey eyes that watched her too closely all these years. Lillian Petunia Potter, named after her mother, had to fly under the radar and hide in the shadows while her infamous twin brother basked in the hero limelight. She played too close with fire and got herself burned one too many times. Will Malfoy cause her life to go up in flames? Will she freely jump into them if it means risking it all? *** This fan fiction will be loosely following the plot. For the sake of everyone, the plot spans over a couple of year. The first few chapters of the story is story building and to help add slow burn .The majority of the story they will be consenting 17+ year olds. Warning: contains mature scenes, language, violence, smut, etc. ***I do not own any of these characters, all rights go to JK Rowling and her publishing company. "That's where you're wrong, I don't feel the fear of it anymore, it's gone, I'm numb to it, and it's because of you and your stupid lies and fucking manipulation!" THIS IS A SLOW BURN! Context(important): Snow Potter and Harry Potter are siblings and Harry is one year older. They both have a scar and protection from their mother's love and are both famous and enemies of Voldemort. They were separated at birth to be kept more safe and harder to find from Voldemort's followers. She grew up in the USA and went to a school for witchcraft and wizardry like Hogwarts. She had a dark past there- She started school a year earlier than Harry and others because that's the system there. Snow Potter would visit Hogwarts every single year at the end of the year to get close with her brother and make friends but also to help with conflicts ( she was there to find Sirius Black, Sorcerer's Stone, etc. Btw, she went to school in the US(witchcraft) and it was slightly more advanced there so she knows more than Harry. Warning: Mentions of suicide, ptsd, torture, self harm, etc. I don't own any of the characters here except Snow Potter, Tyler, Loren, and other non canon characters other than Mattheo. "There's not a single witch or wizard who went bad who wasn't in Slytherin." That's what Hagrid told him three years ago, the day Harry Potter, the boy who lived, life had turned upside down on his eleventh birthday. Y/n Pucey is no exception to that statement, so how is it that he's caught feelings so quickly for a girl who's no different from her housemates? ... Potter pauses for a moment, staring at me for longer than what's appropriate. His next words are so quiet that I can hardly them myself: "Do you fancy me?" My heart seemingly stops, and suddenly, we both stop moving. My eyes meet his green ones, and I see the same things I always do when I look into them; Him helping me at the Quidditch World Cup, him giving me his coat, him placing his hand on mine; I think back to all those nights in the kitchens, in the potions classroom, in the library. I think back to every word, every secret we had exchanged with one another. We knew everything about each other, yet nothing at the same time, and, at the moment, I realized he was much too close. I wanted to pull away. I should pull away, I think to myself, but... I stay put, frozen in place as I attempt what I think is a smirk. "Never in your wildest dreams," I then answer. And just like that, his lips land on mine.
