The year is 2050 and the world has been overrun by machines enforced by the government. Each citizen must obey the established Five Laws - a set of rules constructed to fit society and promise a better future for the human race - or face dire consequences. 

Mia is new to the city of New York. Joined with her best friend, Florence, the two girls come to see all the opportunities and exciting adventures their new home has to offer. 

But they seem to run into the same problem that alters their new lives majorly: their every single move is being monitored. 

From new jobs, to new friends, to mysterious co-workers that lurk around every corner, Mia and Florence will quickly learn that in this day and age, things change. That is just how life works. But sometimes, unfortunately, change isn't always for the better.
