Girl vs. the end of the world

Kelly's life is pretty much the same as usual, fighting with her mom, playing with her little brother and sister, reading a lot and doing practice drills in preparation for the end of the world. However one day on the train on the way to school with her little sister the train stops moving and all electricity stops working- not even mobile phones. She soon discovers that all electricity is not working, including all forms of transportation. Kelly, along with her little sister Emily, Zane, a mysterious boy she meets along the way and Kara, Kelly's best friend have to work together to try and survive in a world of people gone mad while trying to find Kelly's mother and little brother before someone violent or desperate gets to them first. They soon discover that there are no rules when you are trying to survive.
