In another world, the gods have created children in their very image. Fractured by darkness, there now exist two; two sides of a whole. Two People, the Rae'ka and the Sha'ka, different in every way. War has raged between them since their creation, but a prophecy foretells a peace is on the horizon. Future queens of both People, Kahlen Briem the Lioness, and Shea Pleadi the Commander of the Sha'ka's forces, find their future's joined in a single path to peace. Will they be able to lead their people past their difference to become one again? Or will the darkness that plagued their ancestors overcome their desire for peace. In this epic journey the children of the sun and moon must find their way back to each other. Must find their way back to The Balance.

"As light and darkness will be... Ever seeking balance." The world of Lovis was created by two Goddesses, who worked together to bring about light, darkness, life, and death. The power of light and dark harmonizes, creating a perfectly balanced world that all the residents living in Lovis wholeheartedly enjoy. However, there was another Goddess; a twin sister to the one who brought about light and life to Lovis. Originally like her sister, this Goddess sought a different path, becoming only corruption and seeking to destroy all that her sister and the other Goddess created. To prevent this from happening, the corrupt Goddess was secreted to her sister's shadow, where she would hopefully soon be consumed by her light. Unfortunately, that did not work. Corruption is an evil form of darkness, for when you have too much darkness without light balancing it out, it can become something chaotic. When too much corruption eats away at the original darkness in the air, it creates a rift made of chaos and corruption. These rifts are portals to other places. If too many of these were to open all at once, passages will be made for things from other dimensions to travel through, entering a world they do not belong in. For this corrupt Goddess, chaos such as this is all that she strives for. Not only will a perfectly balanced world, like Lovis, crash and burn, but all other worlds in the universe. It is safe to say that not all worlds are as lovely as Lovis...
