Fairbury borders a cliff that overlooks the ocean and jagged rocks. The people that reside there never had any problems. No drunk or reckless driving along Cliff Road. It was fueled by fear. If someone were to keep driving along a certain intersection, they would go sailing off the side of the cliff and no doubt die within seconds. But what happens when someone finally does keep driving for the first time ever in Fairbury?

Twenty-three-year-old Willow Thompson lives the same life every day as she makes a somewhat steady living at the public library. Until one day her life explodes, leaving pieces of hard metal, shards of glass, and a boy. A car wreck will leave her devasted, that is until something quite unexpected comes of it.
