Doch selbst die Tatsache, dass wohl alles nur ein Traum gewesen war ließ sie nachts nicht schlafen. Sie hörte Stimmen, die sie riefen. Sie sah Bilder, die in ihr das Gefühl von Fernweh entfachten. Sie sehnte sich nach Eldarya. Als sie jedoch versuchte diese Erinnerungen durch einen nächtlichen Spaziergang aus ihren Gedanken zu verdrängen, entdeckte sie ihre Großmutter dabei wie sie versuchte den Dorfbrunnen zu versiegeln mit den Worten: "Cara, wenn ich dir die Wahrheit sage - über alles - wirst du dann bei mir bleiben?"
