Everything was going somewhat well in Josh's life, he has good (but somewhat socially awkward) friends, his family was doing pretty well despite the feeling that his mother was hiding something from him and his siblings (their father seemingly in on it as well), And the sudden unexplainable deaths occurring around town haven't hit anyone he's known at all... So overall It's been a good school year that's for sure.
This all of course changes when a stupidly cute transfer student moves into the creepy old run down house down the road with his two weirdo friends and no adult supervision.

Tyler joseph is a quiet 16 year old boy living alone in small apartment. He was homeschooled up until he turned 15 when his family was tragically killed in a car crash while he was attending piano practice. Since then he'd pretty much been living off of welfare and his parents life insurance, getting by penny by penny and barely leaving the small enclosure. He'd become extremely depressed since the accident. His very few friends who he once yearned to see constantly, were barely ever around anymore. And by now he'd quit all schooling and gave up with it all. He was done with this life. Josh dun is a 16 year old boy who'd been living away from home since he was 14 when his parents kicked him out. They didn't have enough money to support him and themselves. But he was just a kid with a dead end minimum wage job. And eventually it wasn't enough. He got fired for showing up late on his fifteenth birthday. With no where else to turn, he went into prostitution. Selling the only thing he had left so he'd have a place to call home. He had hit rock bottom. But still he kept a positive attitude and fought through the negative thoughts and horrible events that clouded his young life. Today was Tyler's birthday and he was annoyed as much as he was surprised to hear his cell phone ring loudly at 12 am beside him on his nightstand.He briskly picked up to hear one of his old friends on the phone and more voices he recognized in the background. He was bombarded by voices all sending the same message: happy birthday, be ready by 6 because we're all coming over. The line went down and Tyler groaned as he showered, got dressed, and then binge watched pretty little liers till there was a knock at the door. He got up and opened it with a slightly annoyed glance as he noticed an unfamiliar face. "Who's that?" he muttered inviting everyone in one by one. This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him. Platonic Joshler Life can get pretty difficult when your only two friends are imaginary, and it's even harder when they're not exactly the most positive people on the planet. Tyler is used to that, though, and he's used to pretending they're not there when other people are around. It wasn't so bad, at first, but now that one of them is bent on getting rid of the other, he's having his doubts.
