Only You [l.ew] [On Hold]

"It's not that I hate you," He whispered from across the desktop, "It's quite the opposite in actuality." I blinked up at him, furrowing my brows in a confused manner as I felt more eyes pointed in our direction.

I hear him sigh as he pulls the chair on the opposing side of table out, taking the seat and resting his chin a top his hands. My shoulders tense at the feeling of dozens of pairs of eyes burning holes through my body. None of them had looked at me before, it's only because of him.

"I want to be able to be here for you," He smiled brightly, leaning foreword in the chair. I nodded my head lightly to him, petrified to speak even a single word to him and embarrass myself. He scrunched his nose before reaching out and moving a strand of my brown hair behind my ear, "So that's what I plan to do."

I hear the crowded room begin to buzz with whispered chatter, the eyes only growing in number and the anxiety growing even more in my heart. I feel myself closing down before I hear something from his lips that makes my heart leap and drop all at once...

"I will be here for you and only you."
