I whispered the last part menacingly at him, clenching my jaw as my eyes filled with tears. The way his face hardened and his eyes dilated, I assumed he heard me as a muscle in his jaw ticked. I lowered my pointing finger and wiped my tears furiously from the back of my hand, looking away.
"It's good that you got to know about everything before this marriage facade got out of our hands. Now, you'll realize that you never had any feelings for me and it was just an infatuation." He scoffed, looking away. His adam's apple bobbed as his veins popped out lividly.
"Don't you dare insult my love, Wali! My love for you was so pure. You know what? You don't even deserve it." I told him, swallowing the lump in my throat. My voice came out harsh as my breath grew thin and ragged. I tried to control myself, reminding there were people in this house.

He stops laughing and holds his cheek, turning towards her who gets shocked seeing the rage burning in his eyes Fear slowly erupts in her body and she steps back trying to run away from him. She runs towards the door. Mushk screeches in pain when a hand from back holds her hair tightly and pulls her back. She starts thrashing in his grip, tears pouring from her eyes. She was scared, so scared! Her heart was pounding in terror as she shivered in his arms. "You slapped me? How fucking dare you?!" Zohan screams in rage, making her flinch. He drags her towards the bed and pushes her on top. She immediately sits up moving back trying to get away from this beast. Seeing her moving back, he holds her ankle and pulls her towards him making her scream, he hovers above her with a sinister look on her face. The thunder roared at him in anger, telling him to stop but he paid no heed. It slowly stopped roaring, defeated. Small water drops fall on the ground which soon turns into a heavy rain, as if crying with the girl telling her they are with her, trying to give her some solace. The birds flew from there hearing loud wails filled with pain, crying at the poor souls fate. That night the angels returned to Allah with their heads bowed down in anger and hurt, crying for an innocent girl and cursing a particular man.
