Being a 17 year old orphan isn't exactly the worst thing in the world for Annie. Living with family that hates her is the worst. She can't complain because they are the ones looking after her and providing for her. Not to mention they pick on her even at school. But everything starts getting better for her when she meets Josh. Josh has had his eyes on Annie for quite a while. Since after his last breakup with Louisa. He's tired of chasing Louisa around. She just isn't the one for him. He's got a connection with Annie and he's going to make her realize that. Ray isn't the best boy in town. He's the know badass of school. There's been rumors about him. He doesn't care though. He just goes with life. He's known to be strong and tough. Girls practically drool all over him. But no one knows him as much as Laura does.
