Chelsey Gordon is an archeology student and for the first time, she is visiting Pompeii with her professor, Mrs. Olsen, and her classmates. While there, they make a discovery that changes her life as well as one of her classmates, Julia Holt. After touching the statues of two people encased in ash, Chelsey and Julia are taking back in time to 79 A.D. just before Mount Vesuvius erupted. While there, they try to discover why they are there. Eventually, finding out the truth while trying to survive the disaster that destroyed Pompeii. Disclaimer: Last names have been changed for privacy reasons. Any consequence in names is accidental. I also do not own most of the characters and I did follow some of the story line from the movie. There is some violence and swearing in the story for just a heads up as well.
