Carter is like any other normal kid passing through the dreadful classes high school has to offer.
Carter Martinez is quite known around for his intelligence. His ability to learn is amazing which helps contribute to the school, helping it rank top ten in the state. All he's ever wanted is to be popular and not just for his intelligence. But he doesn't want that anymore.
He wears designer clothes just like the other popular kids even if he hasn't talked to one of them. He's not rich, but he lives in a fair house with two loving parents that care for him.

*Alexa Ryde is popular as well, but for the wrong reasons. She's known for her troublesome pranks on students and teachers, and for getting suspensions, and detentions.
