Kat sees him around and starts to notice odd things about him but also notices a lot of more odd things about her parents Mike and Stacy but also about herself. Once she turns 18 the odd boy starts to get closer to Kat. He knows things about her that she doesn't. Kat knows that she can't fall in love with him, but she also knows that she was already in love with him from the time she set eyes on him. His name was Aaron. Her name was Kat, but he called her his Luna.

I was almost to the door when I remembered the leather jacket I brought. I turned back to the room and just as I entered the most wonderful smell hit my nose. When no one talks to you anymore or even sees you, you wonder, what's the point? I could move after high school, I could start over, but it wouldn't change anything. I would still be that awkward girl. The one that hides in the shadows to stay out of people's way. I always sit in the back corner near the window in the classroom. I like to look outside toward the woods, especially when it's raining and the raindrops trail down the window. I watch their path from the top and all the way down to the bottom where they disappear.
