Lyla never really thought about others reactions to her actions. One day she makes one of the biggest decisions she can and now must face the reactions. She has to see, through their eyes

[I'll be going through and editing and adding stuff into chapters as I also continue to write the story further. This is not even close to being a finished piece]

[it may not be obvious, but Elliott is a trans boy, and Lyla is confused, due to her affections for Elliott despite his being a boy. This is why I've tagged it as LGBT.]

ORION GRAVES has always been on top. A straight-A, high honors student. Top of his class on the path to valedictorian and an Ivy League school. Until suddenly, that all changes. Orion was outed as transgender at his old school, and became victim to relentless harassment. Not to mention that in June of his junior year, his mother lost her battle with cancer. Now, he must move in with his father-whom he hasn't seen since his parent's divorce when he was 8. Moving all the way from Red, California to Lakeview, Maine, he has to start from the very beginning. But, as he starts his senior year in a brand-new school he's quick to learn that it's not going to be easy to get back on top, nor keep his head down and stay under the radar like old times. Because there's Caleb. CALEB MITCHELL, the star child of Lakeview. Honored for being so well-rounded he probably shouldn't get too close to a hill. Not only that, but he's nice. And funny. And surprisingly good-looking. And Orion's new best friend. But Caleb's lost someone too, and is struggling just as much; this perfect kid suddenly not so perfect anymore. He's got his own demons, and pressures, and a heavy depression holding him back. And yet, through these shared struggles, their friendship somehow manages to blossom into something so much more sacred. ---------- Cover and story by me, @collin_writes / @coolsaige (youtube) Official Playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2XONF7xeRhcFwDBWpbxmsB?si=7s4Whhq-RlewQIiya3UwQw

Her eyes search mine, and I can see the conflict in them, the way she's trying to find the right thing to say. She doesn't answer right away, but I force myself to hold her gaze. Finally, she exhales, leaning back against the seat. "I don't know what I want," she says, her voice trembling. "But I don't want to lose you. I just... I'm trying to figure it all out." Her hands drop from the wheel, landing in her lap like she's run out of strength. The words hit me harder than I expect, and for a moment, I can't speak. I look away, my chest tight. "Well, I know what I want," I say, the words tumbling out before I can stop them. My voice is soft, almost shaking. "I want you, Analia." ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Analia has a boyfriend. A good one. The kind that makes sense, that fits neatly into the life she's spent years building. Safe. Easy. The right choice. Lexie is none of those things. She's messy and reckless, always running toward something or running away. She smokes too much, doesn't apologize for the way she takes up space, and makes Analia feel like her whole life is one wrong move away from falling apart. The kiss was a mistake. Analia knows that. She tells herself it didn't mean anything, that she can bury it, move on, pretend like it never happened. But it did happen. And it keeps happening-in glances that last too long, in texts she shouldn't be sending, in the way Lexie's name sits too heavy in her chest. It's not supposed to be like this. She's not supposed to want her. But she does. And the more she tries to push it down, the more it spills into everything. Analia tells herself walking away from her is the only option, but it never feels like one. Not when Lexie looks at her like that. Not when her heart keeps betraying her. And suddenly, she's stuck between wanting her and walking away, unable to do either.

Just so you know this y/n is emotionless and shows little to none interest in people. Since this is a fem reader I will be using she/her pronouns and give y/n female body parts. please enjoy the rest of this description. Actual description: Y/n, a girl with little to none emotions. Or at least they don't show. Her mind is dark and so is everything she says when she does talk. She refuses to speak unless she wants, or has to talk to someone. But when she does, people tend to find it creepy or they begin to fear her. She has a loving family, is an only child and has everything she could want. Makes you wonder why she is like this.... That's for another time though... After an... incident, at her other school, she is transferred to Nevermore Academy. Her father was an angel, her mother being a demon who has chosen to be good, fell in love and had y/n. Y/n is a hybrid because of this. Her demon side takes affect more than it should though. Her parents chose for her to go to Nevermore so she could be around other kids like her. Meaning other outcasts. Her parents want her to make friends. Or even someone to love. She is obviously not interested in this. She hates people. Why would she willingly talk to any of them. She sees no point in even making friends... I wonder why? What happens when she is roomed next to the most feared boy in Nevermore and with the happiest girl alive? What will happen between the two of them? ______________________________________________________ Just so your aware, Wednesday is owned by Netflix. I own nothing other than y/n and the plot that I desided to use. I will not be using the same plot as the show. If you don't like it, don't read it. Im not forcing you to read it. also I drew the cover :) made- June 21st 2023 finished- July 2nd 2023
