There comes a time when every young boy has to become a man. It's a time that many boys look forward to. No longer having to answer to anyone, freedom to make adult decisions, working hard to hold one's own. It's an experience that excites even the youngest of them. But what happens when a boy is forced to become a man before his time? Eighteen year old Casey Lewis was only thirteen years old when he was forced to become the man of the house. His father, Daniel Lewis, passed the torch of manhood to his son when he died of a sudden brain aneurysm. Trying to fill the big shoes of his father, helping his mother to raise his two little sisters was anything but easy. Finally, Casey is graduating high school and is set to leave for college in the fall. With a reliant, slightly overbearing mother and two little girls looking up to him, leaving seems almost impossible. Which leaves everyone with two major questions; will Casey leave and finally get to live a life of his own? Or will he stay and continue being the man of the house?
