Jin's father called it curiosity.
The town called it an obsession.
But Jin always knew it was both and neither.

Tunjinia Sari was born into the era of an epidemic. The sickness ravaged the land, leaving people untouched but killing them all the same as it spoiled their harvests and mutated animals beyond recognition. As the sickness spread, fear and desperation followed close behind.

Jin, though, had never been satisfied with rumors. Fascinated by the black-blooded, inedible beasts since she was a child, the townspeople began to fear her for her connection to the sickness.

After a series of allegedly incriminating events, Jin is accused of being a witch. Exiled from her native village, Jin knows the only way she will ever be able to return is if the sickness ends.

With the help of two of her close friends, Jin embarks on a dangerous journey into what the legends speak of as the Accursed Land. As she learns more, Jin begins to understand that this sickness has always been more than what it seems, and her connection to it runs much deeper than a simple obsession...
