It's been ten years since Blake Pedersen was locked away for treatment, but even still, Sophie Clark feels the least bit safe and content. She still finds herself returning to visit her former stalker and kidnapper, but what for?

After so many years in detainment, the obsessive menace is under looks for rehabilitation. Sophie falls under her own question:

Shouldn't she keep her enemy close?

No need to go out and confine her, when he was the one meant to be under her care.

They have forty-seven days to make this work. Still, it would arise many problems. From trying to hide her sins and the sins he's committed, keeping the Pedersens oblivious and content, and above all, making sure she won't fall any deeper for this destructive person, or the least bit for this newly returned childhood friend.
