Being transparent, this story is an MLP fanfic that started out as a pet project of mine, but I finished it a few days ago, and I felt it's finally time I share it. Sure, it starts out with typical "OC meets canon character" stuff, but it gets good, I swear! Seriously, this story gets quite insane by the end, and while I don't blame you if you don't read every single chapter... at least read the tenth chapters, because that's usually where it gets the most insane. I might even upload said tenth chapters before the others because... well, I'm going to be rewriting a lot of stuff, and I'm not gonna make you wait to get to the good parts. By the way, the story contains a lot of No More Heroes/Bayonetta influences, and some Devil May Cry ones earlier on. Also, please keep in mind that while I do try to write the characters canon to the show as accurately as I can, I try to write them with a bit more sincerity, as if they're people instead of cartoon ponies. Then again, take my attempt at a more realistic portrayal of the characters with a grain of salt. I'm still an amateur writer after all, so whether or not the characters do actually act like more realistic versions of the characters from the show is up to you to judge. All non-original characters, locations and concepts (eg, Fluttershy, Equestria, Elements of Harmony) belong to Hasbro.

Equestria Girls of the Lost Cities (a KOTLC/EQG fanfic) von girl_of_many_worlds

With the help of a dare, Twilight's gotten Rainbow Dash to read the first book in Twilight's favorite series, "Keeper of the Lost Cities" by Shannon Messenger. However, Rainbow Dash gets hooked, and a couple of days later, she's asking Twilight for the next book in the series. As Twilight goes over the next day to give her the next book, she finds Rainbow Dash and Sunset Shimmer's things... only they weren't around. All that remained were their things and the glowing "Keeper of the Lost Cities" book. Curious and worried, the rest of the Equestria Girls come close to the book, and they get sucked in. Now in the world of the book, they find themselves meeting twelve year old Sophie Foster, who's been a freak ever since she cracked her head open at five and started hearing human thoughts. The only person who seems to understand is Sunset, who is strangely starting to hear mental voices as well. It's around this time they meet Fitz Vacker, who goes in and changes Sophie and the Equestria Girls' lives forever. Soon, they go to the Lost Cities, and when Alden Vacker gives the news about Sophie having to leave her human family, he also explains that, due to the discovery, the Equestria Girls have to stay in the Lost Cities as well. He's completely aware that they had been sucked into the story, and for good reason. He also says that they need to split when it came to relocating them, just so nothing bad would happen. As the girls go through Sophie's journey of discovering her true self as one of the most powerful elves in the Lost Cities, they make friends, fall in love, and discover unimaginable powers they never expected to have before this. However, with this new life comes secrets. Sophie's life isn't like the other elves. She has a secret past, one Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and Sunset may also be connected to. The Barbie Adventure: Barbie in the Nutcracker von girl_of_many_worlds

I saw that they have these with the ponies so I did it with the humans. Anyways. So Pinkie Pie has begun her annual "Barbie movie marathon" campaign, and since Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle aren't familiar with this, they convince the rest of the group to just try it and see how it goes. However, when Pinkie slides in the DVD for the first film, "Barbie in the Nutcracker," and the movie starts playing, their geodes link with the movie by magic, and they get slurped into the silver screen. In the world of Clara and the Nutcracker, the Equestria Girls have to go with Clara to find the Sugar Plum Princess to help get them back home. However, the characters in the movie are not only astounded that the girls possess magical qualities, but even start to suspect that one of them could secretly be the Sugar Plum Princess (much to Sunset, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack's dismay). And not only are suspicions rising, they have to fend off the Mouse King and his army, who feel that the Equestria Girls are a bigger threat than Clara and the gang. Can the group find the true Sugar Plum Princess and get everyone back to where they belong, Clara back at her estate and the Equestria Girls out of the movie? You'll have to read to find out. Disclaimer: The Equestria Girls belong to Hasbro. "Barbie in the Nutcracker" belongs to Mattel. Some of the dialogue came straight from the movie, so yeah. I don't own any of this. The Barbie Adventure IX: Barbie Fairytopia: Magic of the Rainbow von girl_of_many_worlds

Azura comes to Elina just as the Equestria Girls arrive. It's a good thing they showed up as well. Azura and the other guardians of Fairytopia have decided to select 14 new apprentices to learn the Flight of Spring, one of the most important events that secures the future of Fairytopia. And the guardians want Elina and the Equestria Girls to be eight of them! They fly to the Crystal Palace, where they learn how the flight goes: they open the First Blush of Spring, which will reveal the first rainbow for the fairy world. Fail, and Fairytopia is doomed for ten years of bitter winter. Slowly, all fourteen apprentices get to know each other, with Sunburst, Elina, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack becoming the most competitive towards each other. But it's not like things can go perfect for long. In fact, Elina, Linden, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy accidentally get Laverna out of her frog form, and things get even weirder when Sunburst suddenly starts acting nice. Three of the apprentices keep confronting them on the mistake. Oh, and the guardians fall into comas. The Enchantress knows that the fourteen have to complete the flight together. Equestria has been plunged into dark powers not meant to be controlled, but then, what about Chaos Magic? Actually, things might only get worse. Whatever the case, Sun's back, and with the help of her friends, old and new, she's ready to use her witchcraft to fight back against (and probably crush beneath her hoof) whatever dares to threaten her peaceful life! However, Sun isn't the only one who's important - any character can be! Through the eyes of biased narrators, both original and from MLP:FiM, read harrowing journeys across Equestria's forgotten lands and familiar sights, or maybe just a wacky adventure full of nonsense. ...Still reading? Okay, good. So, this is obviously a sequel to my last story, Songs of Innocence, but if you haven't read that, that's okay! The explosive first chapter of this story will seamlessly make you understand who Sun is, which is what's most important! You can even think of the previous story as just the pilot, while this is the main series, so to speak. This story will be a much more... casual read. Unlike SoI 1, this one is not based on a previous draft, so I'll just be making it up as I go along this time. Oh, and by the way, I think I gotta say this, so...
