Compared to the guy in front of him, whose soft silvery-white hair and iris-less blue eyes shine in the dark. "...It is a bit disappointing." He said as the guy chuckled. "Hah, it's meant to be 'balanced'. It's bound to laws that differentiate between good and evil." He says with a gleeful tone, smiling ear to ear with narrowed eyes. Harry scoffed. "Still, it's useful in a way. How about that Ancient Magic of yours? Any way we can use it to track him?" The guy nodded. "Of course, you just have to ask!" He said with a mischievous smile. Harry then nodded, before closing the book. "Good. Let's get going then. We only have a few days left." "Hehe, oh, but of course, dearest Potter~!" Harry flinched and smirked hearing that. "Heh, contain yourself, dearest Desaulniers." . . . What are the fundamentals of magic? Many seems to not know what magic truly is, even the renowned witches and wizards. Magic might be an Art, a Weapon, a Gift, a Curse, anything, really. But what magic truly is, is just that. Magic. There is no hidden context, magic is magic. Curses are just restrictions, and we know it. Magic is something that thrives of mystery. If you don't know about it, it grows stronger. Which is why the First Magician decreed the Deep Magic, to bind magic into the essence of the wild. But we know the truth. For I was there when it was written. Tale as old as Time song as old as rhyme beauty and the Beast. In a time long ago where muggles and wizards lived together, lied prejudices. It was always the muggles vs the wizards. The wizards always saw themselves as better than the muggles. Of course, there is one place that showed that the most and that was the kingdom of Hogwarts. In that kingdom there was a ruthless, cold hearted prince named Draco Malfoy. He was as colder than ice and hated muggles with a passion. He saw them as nothing more than dirt and made them aware of it. But within the kingdom, there was still some good. Not all the village people were prejudice, instead they made friends within each other. They loved to gossip, especially when it came to this new girl who just moved into town with just her father and a secret that follows them. Enter Grania, named after her mother she rolls into town seeking a new life with her father. She knows nothing of magic or that it even exists. But the thing she does know is that the village talks about her. They find her very unusual and different. She loves to work, help people in need, and things of that nature. But is it good or bad? She longs for, instead of adventure, love. But that seems far out of her reach especially when she meets a certain man who pushed her in the mud. However, she does catch the eye of a famous war hero that all the girls want. They both share this strange feeling that none of them have felt before, especially Draco. Does this mean that this Beast will soon find himself falling for the very thing he despises, or will he push her away? This story is an adaption from the 2017 new Beauty and the Beast movie. Femke, a Nordic-Bosmeri woman, has come to Riften to start over. She thought she was ready for adventuring in the big, wide world outside of her meager home in the mining colony of Dawnstar. But no one seems to trust her because she has elven blood. Turned away and alone, she is found by two members of a mysterious organization operating within Riften. One, a Nordic man called Brynjolf, takes pity on the poor human-elf and offers her a job, and if she does well, a spot within the "Guild," as he puts it. Draco shouts as the cauldron the two of them were sharing begins rapidly bubbling and drips over the edge. "I didn't do anything!" The brunette next to him fires back. "Well, you've obviously done something!" Draco continues as the liquid reaches the desk and, before either of them know it, explodes. As the smoke clears Draco coughs and sways on his feet, faintly noticing the now missing desk. Potter also stood stumbling next to him and Draco instinctively grabbed his shoulder to stabilize him. "Um, what just happened?" Potter stammers as he reorients himself. "You added too many dragon scales to the cauldron, that's what!" Draco spits out at his fellow sixth year. "I know that!" Potter shouts, "I meant where the bloody hell we are!" Draco blinks at the statement and finally takes a moment to look around.
