Star is a different type of girl. Ever since she got detached from her divorced, emotionally unavailable parents, she's been filling up her quiet, lonely world with music and dancing. She's practically a musical prodigy at 16 and music can't possibly be taken away from her. The only people she's ever been really close to are her psycho, over enthusiastic bff's. They're the only people she can tolerate anyway. That's until one fateful day when she meets a cocky, narcissistic, though really cute guy at her favourite fro yo shop who gets under her skin for just being himself. She absolutely detests guys like him. Absolutely gorgeous, frustratingly charming, cocky as hell and shockingly talented at music. That's right. Star discovers that this seemingly unbearable guy loves music almost as much as she does and just that single fact makes her heart soften a little so she lets her guard down for just a tiny bit. But after that one moment that she decides to let it down, she realises that she can't get it back up again. She discovers she can actually feel things and once she acknowledges this, her whole world is completely changed from the quiet, peaceful, drama free life she has always been used to into a series of drama, heartbreak, tears, broken trusts and friendships. |Featured X1| @romance(high school romance)Concluida

Strawberry Cocktails
"Parting is such sweet sorrow, That I shall say good night till it be morrow." A very short novella (Only about 10k words in total) that I used to get me out of a writing slump, with little to no action but lots of emotions. In a journey where hearts yearned but souls wandered apart, they discovered that true love sometimes meant embracing the courage to release, for the sake of finding happiness in the echoes of what could have been. ... SNEAK A PEAK Never have I ever thought that one day, I'll wake up to hear these words from a person I love the most, romantically. I pushed him back, I held him by his shoulders and pinned to the wall. I know I wrongfully confined him, but how dare he? 'You dare question my love for you?" I raised my voice. He is surprised, he widened his little eyes, those I would love to stare at all day or may be he is shocked as well. HAHA!! I Find it annoyingly funny how easily he quoted 'Thank god, You didn't love me too deep in the ocean', "Oh darling, wait till you drown inside and ask for my help when you can't swim to the shore" I retorted and defended my love.Concluida

A Forever That Lasted
"Everything I need is here," he whispered in my ear. I looked into his eyes, only to see me in them. He pulled me closer; we were just inches away from each other his breath was fanning my face. I could hear our heart beat in a rhythm, being this close to him; I could feel his heart hammering in his chest. His grip tightened around my waist as he placed his other hand on my cheek. My hands were on his chest, holding his shirt which seemed like my only support as my knees felt like jelly! It seemed so magical. We were so lost in each other, he leaned closer and my eyes shut automatically. As soon as his lips met mine, a thousand fire crackers started bursting in my head, there were goosebumps on my skin and butterflies in my stomach. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Should you tolerate anything in a relationship just to make it work or because he's your first love?
