Every year on July 1st a quarter with the letter K written in sharpie on the front is mixed in with others in the small town of Ruddale, Montana; at least 45 minutes away from other civilization. This quarter is the Kindness Quarter. Once received, the receiver will help out another person and hand them the Quarter as well. For example: A woman is buying groceries and is short 1 dollar, the man behind her in line gives her the Kindness Quarter as well as a dollar so she can buy her groceries. Pretty simple right? As a store employee, you cannot take the Quarter as payment. So the Kindness Quarter circulates around town to spread kindness and love to everyone who needs it. This year was no different. All Rights Reserved
