Love and Loss

Charlie Brooks is sixteen. She has never had many friends and her parents were her only family. Her parents were John and Melissa Brooks. They were the very optimistic owners of the South side diner. However, all of a sudden her world is turned upside down after her parents are killed on a camping trip leaving her as the only survivor. How will Charlie live on without the company of her only family? Will she be able to deal with the grief? Will the mysterious stranger Luke be able to protect her from what lies ahead?
