This is my first official short story. It is based on a group of lionesses and the turn of events that changed their lives. The story is short. But is intentionally shredded into smaller episodes. One part of the story revolves around R'amin Lha, the leader of her pride. The next bit revolves around another lioness Lei'mah Rhu, a lowborn hunter of the same tribe. The amalgamation of these two stories have one purpose- to reveal a hidden truth about one of them. I want to show the world from the viewpoint of a lioness, which automatically changes the perception of the story. Most of the words are not known to mankind. Some words are to define humans and their inventions themselves, such as, calling the human beings 'Hindwalkers', I mean, why not? . I wont give out the meanings of all the words, because i think all of you viewers are well capable of deducing their apparent meanings from the context. Pay attention to details, you might even guess it before its reveal.

Someday - A Short Story
Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. Like, mutant-level things... Lauren, Luc's dead twin sister, hid something from everyone. Something important that may have lead to her demise and that could lead to ours. Hunters are in town. I never knew four words could contain so much dread and terror. I'd rather deal with the Wanderers. I'm on the brink of a breakdown. I need help..." BOOK #2 IN THE SERIES! Ignorance is not bliss... In the wake of ridding Oakwood of Wanderers, other dangers come creeping in and they're somehow linked to Luc's absent twin. The past returns to haunt the mutants in inconspicuous ways. Riley's life is yet again in jeopardy, but this time she's not alone. Luc and his family are all thrown into the teetering balance. More secrets are uncovered. A trap dawns on them all. Invisible threats start crawling from all directions. Who is the real enemy? TW : behaviours of depression and PTSD are displayed. I don't name them, but one of the character will be struggling a lot. It may not be suitable for everybody. Other adult matters are briefly included, but nothing explicit or intense. Once upon a time there was a girl name Evangeline King, Eve for short. She lives in a world full of shifters and non-shifters. Her parents were the King and Queen of people that hated shifters. Eve never believed them, because her best-friend was a shifter. His name is Daniel Grey, he could shift into a tiger. He would hide his secret from the others. But one day, Daniel vanished and Eve never saw him again. Over time her parents died, and her name and kingdom were forgotten. Eve became poor and went to live with her friend Amber. Who worked at the bakery, in a small village called Shimmer. Eve lived there for years, working at the local tavern to earn money to help Amber.
