Rosalina Nechelly, aka Rose, is an Italian American 24 year old nurse who just so happens to end up in the zombie apocalypse. In the beginning, she had her twin brother Rafael, aka Rafi, her fiance Matt, and their two year old daughter Aurora. Sometime in the forth month of the apocalypse, she ends up all on her own. She is alone and traumatized from the death of someone she held so near and dear.

What happens when after almost four months she comes across a group of fellow survivors? Now there's a new conflict for Rose...the badass leader of this group named Xavier Kane. Xavier is a 28 year old ex army man who was their "secret weapon" in conflict. This man himself is a mystery with also a mysterious past. He killed many men in battle. The only reason he had to stop being that badass soldier is because he was wounded. He got shot in the stomach six times in a row. Those blows should have killed him, so how did he survive? A miracle or just pure luck? Or by chance is it possible Xavier Kane is truly invincible?
