This story takes place before Spacebound and The Slime.

I feel like I should add a bit of a violence warning here. 'Spacebound' is totally fine but this story can get a bit dark at times. Although I promise, it's no worse than PG-13. I just want to make sure no innocent, pure five-year old accidentally reads this. Then again Wattpad in general is a bit to mature for the under 10 crowd anyways so....

Survival in space was our only option. The dying earth and its sickly inhabitants forced us to flee to the stars. Pushing off the sink in irritation, I turn to leave but he grabs my bare upper arm. My blood boils in annoyance while my skin tingles with excitement. He perks a brow, obviously sensing it. "I only meant that this mission did not require you to accompany me as my OA in pretence. It's safer to stay with your younglings out of sight anytime the role is not needed," his voice softer. "You disappeared after you..." I pause and shake my head. I feel embarrassed to say it out loud to him. I feel embarrassed at how much it affected me.
