"Afifa slow down" Leila told me as I was walking fast. but I gave her deaf ears as I increased my pace.
I heard my phone rang, as I reached into my bag to look for it. I bumped into someone and we both fell on the floor.

"Ouch!" I heard a feminine voice said.

"I'm so sorry" I said as I started to pack my shopping bags and the rest of my stuffs that fell on the floor.

I kept my stuffs aside as I helped her with hers. I packed all the clothes that she was holding before which are now splattered all over the floor.

"I'm so sorry miss" I said to her again

"No problem" she said. "Mistakes do happen don't they" she said freely and I smiled. There was something about this girl's voice but I just couldn't put my finger
on it.

Her face was half covered with a dark peach viel which went well with the black abaya that has an amazing weave on it. She removed the viel and pinned it roughly and then raised her head and extended hand

"Hi my name is Afina, nice to meet you" she said as I bent down my head to look at my phone.

"Hi. Mine is Afifa, nice to......" I stopped in my tracks as I took hold of the view in front of me

Lo and behold!...I never expected I would see anything like this in my whole entire life. I was amazed, shocked and utterly confused.

I was looking at her wide eyes and so was she. We were looking at

each other as if we were both aliens from different planet who are meeting eachother for the first time.

"Who are you?" We both asked simultaneously.

"Listen to me Qurratul Ayn, before you go, I want to know; did I ever offend you? Is my love for you too little?" I can feel his hand hovering over mine. He wants to hold it, but he knows better than to do that. "Please, I don't want to do this now. My flight is in thirty minutes." I can feel the tears wetting my Niqab. "No! I want to know. Where did I go wrong? Was it money? I didn't feed you well? I didn't clothe you? My love wasn't enough for you? I need to know, all those years! You're seriously willing to throw them away like they were nothing?" A sob breaks out but I manage to hide it behind a cough. I take a silent deep breath and turn, my Niqab swaying and making a whip sound. "It's not like, they really were nothing! Look, I don't have it in me to explain myself. You said you'd give me whatever I want? Then leave me be. I never loved you okay! I never did, it was all a sham, a facade!" His hand that was looming over mine falls limp beside him and he staggers back. "You're lying." He laughs. It's as if he's trying to convince himself. I scoff. "You think so? Well take a look at this." His eyes fill with tears and he takes one of his hands and place it on his mouth. He can't believe that it's actually true. "Okay, Fa'iza." My heart breaks. He never calls me that, ever. "I know something is wrong, and wallahi I'm going to find it out and bring you back to my house in six months. I promise." I feel my heart squeeze knowing his promise can never come to pass, ever. Death is nearing me so nothing can be done. Absolutely nothing. * Ten years of loving, doting over each other and marriage, Fa'iza upped and suddenly said she wanted out of the marriage. Muhammad thought of Madeenah as a child, younger than his baby sister, although way more mature. She seemed to have created a bond with his daughter and that was all that came to his mind about her. Not her smooth caramel skin, or her captivating light brown eyes and neither did her sweet voice do it for him. Madeenah thought of Ya Muhammad as an arrogant and stoic person but a really good father. In truth she was terrified of him. She hated the way he would look at her, as though she was less important than him. She hated the way he never spoke unless he needed to. She hated the way his voice washed over her, making her shiver. She hated his height and how it made him tower over her small frame. She hated him but she just couldn't stop thinking about him. So what happens when the two end up being brought together by an unusual arrangement . He's older, she's younger. He has a daughter and she has barely begun life. Will he let go of the past and try to find happiness or will he drag her down with him? --------------------------------------- "Let's get married." He says with such a straight face that I feel stupid as I chuckle. "What did you just say?" I ask in disbelief. "You heard me Madeenah." He says in a gravelly tone. "Why would you want to marry me?" I shake my head. "You don't like me." "I like you well enough to be married to you." His broad shoulders shrug in his familiar black suit. What is going on with him? And what have I gotten myself into?

{ Highest Ranking 👉🏻 #1 in Spiritual/ Islamic love story } I felt hurt seeing him in pain, pain, which wasn't so obvious to him. // .... Emotions overwhelming my unfaithful heart, I told him, "Assalam Alaikum, Ammar... your hand..." And they came covering us, maybe he didn't hear me. We walked towards the car, my attention on his bruised hand. Before we entered I took the first aid box. He stood there, tall, eyes ~ deep enough to drown me. He made my heart mad and it shivered as I neared him. I saw him grin and he let out a chuckle, and I asked him, terrified but fearless, "Why are you laughing ?" He turned to give me a closer look, his cold eyes examining every detail of mine and finally he spoke in his heavy Emirati accent that blew my senses, with a smirk alongside. What attitude !!! "Am I the doctor or you ? -I gave him a sideways death glare- And I told him, "I'm your wife," He raised his eyebrow side ways and I raised mine sideways too. And he talked again, burning what remained of me, my ears curious to listen to him. He told me to get in the car bluntly. I denied !! This time I wasn't going to listen to him. And he stared at me - his eyes speaking a lot yet they were so quiet. I saw him take a sigh of defeat! He moved up to me, close... closer.... bridging the gap that let air pass between us. And my fragrance blended in his enchanting one. *Takes a deep breath*
