Under the name: Kyle Hail, Ash must adapt to his new environment and make friends whilst keeping his real identification a secret. How long can he keep up the act before his past catches up to him?
Serena is a young rookie trainer with a complicated past. Her past trauma has caused her to be frightened easily and clingy to those she's closest to, can she overcome her deepest fears before something goes wrong?
Ash and Serena's stories are intertwined in a complicated web of emotions, consequences and secrets; that may make or break their bond and the future.

Serena, a performer that has had feelings for Ash ever since they met at summer camp in Pallet Town a long time ago, reunites with him and helps him take in a crisis in Lumiose City that involves mind controlled Pokemon. Now having to try and get Ash to be himself to be ready for the Kalos League causes her emotional pain and sometimes even physical. Ash has to find himself during his journey in order to be able to take on everything in his way, from his best friend Calem to his Arch Rival Damian... To even his own father. Half Ash and half Alain in the character of Ash Ketchum, there will be a good combination between battle styles and a good amount of combinations between overall personality and maturity.
