Lucian McCann has a coffee addiction. A coffee addiction that he adopted from his mother and passed onto his younger sister. Coffee plays a vital role in the McCann household.
Those who disagree are shunned.
With exception of Lucian's dad because, well, he just happens to be one of the main providers.
However, Lucian's biggest nightmare seems to share his father's disliking for a certain hot beverage, preferring tea instead.
Thus, an argument ensues. An argument that leads to hot drinks, cuddling, and accidental kisses.
Ladies and gentlemen, Lucian McCann is in love with a stupid season.

When Max's parents go on vacation, he decides to spend the week with his best friend, Lilly, who also happens to be the sister of his long-time straight crush. Spending seven days with Lilly, Jake and his girlfriend during the summer break before college starts can't be that bad, right? 'Imagine falling in love with a straight guy. Well, that's exactly what I did. It's a story as old as time, and I'm trying my best to get over him, but the fact that his sister is my best friend doesn't help, along with his suspiciously odd girlfriend that keeps popping up at inconvenient times. We really are failing at crushing 101 - falling for someone you can never have.' CONTENT WARNING: My characters enjoy cursing (thanks, Jake), and this story delves into darker topics such as mental health, issues faced by minority groups, includes violence and more.
