A Rough Girl and a Proxy

Winter is a drug addict living in the rough part of town with an alcoholic, but loving, mother. The two of them watch out for each other, making sure the other isn't hurt.

When a string of murders start in the area and there seems to be no suspect, Winter and her mother go on edge.

One night, Winter is saved by a man by the name of Toby, who helps run a liquor store by her house with his cousins. When the two start getting to know each other, she is shocked to hear that he is the killer. She accepts him anyway.

Winter and Toby find themselves getting caught up together and the worst possible thing happens to Winter; She falls in love.
