Note: This is an AU, in the musical version Connor is not good friends with Evan while in this version he is (due to the events that transpired in this fanfiction), so while I ship treebros in the AU context this is not the original musical, you can make your own opinion after watching the original. On Evan's first day, he notices everyone else already had their own groups of friends, no one was alone, except him. Well, him and the boy with the long hair and black hoodie who was intimidatingly brooding in the corner. Connor is not the most welcoming, in fact he's far from it. Though, eventually he begins to tolerate Evan's presence, and soon goes from tolerating it to enjoying it. When Evan miraculously gets cast as the lead role in a show the class is performing, Connor takes it upon himself to help Evan step into the spotlight.
