Mercy Winters let her naive love of a demon lord drive her to murder and madness. As a result the other worldly authorities capture her and place her in the 'workforce'.
Having known this could happen she decided that patiently waiting in servitude for a rescue plan to hatch was practical. However, after barely a whisper of her beau goes by, she loses faith.
Mercy knows standing up to her foes is the only way she can be free, but does this mean she has to kill again to do so.
