Winter is a girl whose grown up all her life knowing she could do things no one else could do. She has the ability to control anything that is water. Uncertain of her limits she wants to push herself as far as she can go. But how far is too far when she learns there's no limitations to her growing powers?

Struggling to control her growing powers she turns to an ex-friend of hers for help, Jason. A boy who she once trust with her life but never with her deepest secret. As Winter and Jason reconnect she starts to believe Jason knows more than what he's letting on.

Will learning that Jason has a secret of his own push them closer together? Or Will learning more about magic and the other world be enough to lure her in? There's a whole other world out there filled with death, lies, betrayal and more secrets and Winter is headed straight for the storm.
