Five years had already passed since Kaori died. It was a very painful moment for him as it had only been a month after Miyazono Kaori passed away. Due to his father's death, Kousei became very depressed. He almost lost control of his psyche because of the sorrow encircling his heart. He's still a minor and so, he was required to go into an orphanage.
