The Second Chance

I struggled to free myself but he didn't budge. He was silently holding me. It almost seemed like he was back hugging not manhandling me. His heart was thumping rapidly matching the velocity of mine. It was dark inside the room but we were somewhere darker. I could feel the sweat forming on his sculpturous body. The atmosphere in the room was so gloomy that it felt like it was offering condolences to us for losing each other. I kept my head on his chest slowly as I didn't want to distrub the tranquility. I knew it would not last long, I knew everything would fall apart again. But I wanted to enjoy it as long as it last. 'It was so wrong of you' my conscience said. But I was desperate trying to seek some more minutes.
