Imagine leaving your whole life behind in the blink of an eye.
Jenny, a young mermaid has to flee from her life in the sea to live on land. Her father won't explain why they have suddenly shed their legs and began the journey of blending into human society. She just knows that they are doing this, without her mother.
Now she must learn how to walk like a human, talk like a teenager, and live like a normal human being. But how easy is it to keep a secret as large as hers? Not easy at all. She makes friends, who inch closer to discovering why Jenny seems to be knew to the whole world.
The lingering question still plays in her mind. Where is her mother? What did she do? And will her family ever be whole again after the tragic truth is exposed.
