Balance, something hard to attain, and even harder to sustain. Almost like walking a sword's edge, everyone waits with baited breath to see if you will be able to walk along it, or if you will fall to the side. It is infinitely harder when you must oversee the balance of other people, but to try and force it upon gods? Impossible, or so most think. Artemis must find a balance of her own, in her duty. First though, she must discover what her new duties are. She has gone from a student studying in Greece to an embodiment of retribution, the successor of Nemesis herself. Another task for the list, how does a goddess die?

Artemis

Without looking back, I feel my huntresses retreat from the cave, and I am left alone with the Giant. He smirks at me and says, "So we meet again, Artemis. Why must our meetings be like this?" * * * This is the story of Artemis, (the Goddess of the moon, archery, childbirth, and much more), finding hope in the darkest of places. She also gets a pleasant surprise along the way, even though frightening at first. * * "She knows this feeling all too well." * * * Book 1 of the Gods and Goddesses Above and Below series * * * EXPLICIT/ADULT/R RATED CONTENT AT SOME PARTS.
