There is a girl named Kaden Mathews, yeah, I know, "it's a boy's name." But no. Her real name was Kora, but she changed it to Kaden because she had lost a very close friend named Kaden. She was everything to her, but when she died mysteriously, she needed a way to remember her. That was 3 years ago. She has been depressed and having nightmares about what could have possibly happened to her best friend. She is terrified of the thought. Not to mention she was kicked out of her house that she lived in with her mom, because her father died shortly after her best friend. She had nobody anymore.
But she meets someone and makes a deal with them. It's risky, but if it means finding out what happened to her best friend. The question is, though, is she willing do anything? Or will she die trying?
