Scarlett Potter, the run away who is the twin to the boy who lived himself. She feels no need to disclose her second name though, having no idea of the tale and the fame that follows it. She's lived in an orphanage most of her life, however still knowing of what she is. A Witch. Upon turning Thirteen, Scarlett makes a tough decision and leaves the orphanage, finding her way in the world and somehow appearing in Romania.

She stumbles upon a dragon preserve having no idea that it's exactly that until hearing shouts and a hot, heavy breath shakes over her.
