When his eyes met her, he could have sworn she'd taken his life for her littlest. ~~ He stood on the edge, glancing towards the castle his father had once been honored at. He looked just like him. He didn't think he'd ever be able to return to his birthplace. But that was fine. Mom probably can't either. ~~ It's been many years now. Everyone who was there is no longer here. It's impossible to move on, but there isn't even a fragment of the past left. She's been told never to head there, but she saddles her horse. ~~ The Calamity took thousands of lives, but it left behind thousands of others. A sister, a wife, a best friend, a son. They move away from each other, and some move from the places they were, all for closure and to remember without the pain. Over one hundred years does history fade to legend, but the faithful continue to tell the legends, not just of one hundred years ago, but of all the stories from it.

It's not the best and it was highly inspired from Neriburns fan fiction. I really suggest you read their story if you haven't already-it's a heck of a lot better than what my younger self could've ever done.
