This takes place in a Zootopia AU where Nick never met Judy, and she worked as a metermaid until she snapped, then started darting prey for Bellweather for rank and fame. Almost all predators were turned savage then captured, but there is a small group remaining, the Resistance. Led by Nick Wilde, this group is dedicated to overthrowing the corrupt government and putting one in place where both prey and predator are treated equally.

This is a story written using elements of older Zootopia lore, as well as following through on the inputs offered during interviews with the main actors themselves, Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman. While this story will occasionally stray to the PG-13 side (in terms of action/violence and some dark/perilous scenes), being a dedicated Zootopia lover and a #WildeHopps shipper since the first time I saw ZOOTOPIA in theaters, may this story be a satisfactory fanfiction sequel to this amazing Disney-based anthropomorphic animal world. :)Complete
