Summer. Parties. Cute boys. Flings. Living carefree. Carter Sams doesn't see how things could go wrong. She's about to get down and dirty with as many guys as she can and party like she's never partied before, despite her families worries and her friends warnings. Enter Volt James, sexy bad boy that's new in town and has his sights set on Carter and wants to make her change, if only he could change himself first to be the guy she needs, not the guy she wants. Will these two ever be able to change for each other? No one seems to think so. And maybe they're right.

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
