Samantha is 16 gonna be 17 and  she already hates her life. She's always depressed and always angry at herself, at everyone at school, at jeff, and especially at her mom. Samantha constantly thinks about death.

One day she meets a guy while trying to distance herself from her life. He's kind and light hearted and on the day they meet he becomes interested in the girl running wearing all black. Little did she know that they went to the same school. Eventually he brakes down her walls as she begins to form feeling that she's never had before. But sam has a secret from her past thats scared her for the rest of her life. Will this mystery boy find out and if he does will he run from her and her mess up childhood or will he stand by her and help her over come her hardships and pain?
