Zara, a motherless child dumped by the father found shelter in Ibrahim's house in a slum of Afghanistan. He brought her up and often took her to the market place to teach her the trade of selling fish. The Taliban had forced crooked laws against the women and Zara couldn't tolerate it when she saw the public execution of Ayesha Bibi, a woman in the neighbourhood. She had much to do against the male dominated society that had once taken her own mother. She managed a hard life taking care of her guardian and also working to earn a livelihood. Atrocities against women took huge toll every day which was beyond Zara's tolerance. She secretly gathered some women and revolted against the local government claiming justice but they were turned down, arrested and sentenced to death.
